About

It all started back in 1979 when Henry E. Wampler, or “Hewey” as his friends would call him, started a small weld shop in South Annville Township. He bought land from his parents who were selling their farm and built his shop from the ground up.

At first his business was focused on building grain bodies for local farmers and later grew into the stone body business. With over 40 years of experience, he had mastered how to fabricate just about any type of aluminum body you can think of.

Today, Henry is still in the shop “semi-retired”, and his daughter Jody works in the office, while his son-in-law Josh is out in the shop building stone bodies. There are two other full time employees and there is usually one or two part timers from the local Vo-Tech schools helping out.

Hewey Welding Inc. is a small family owned business who values its customers and craftsmanship. Come by for a visit or give us a call to talk to one of us today about how we can build your dream aluminum truck body.
